Volunteering

The Green is maintained by the Trustees with the help of local volunteers.  Mowing is carried out during the summer months and working parties are held two or three times a year to carry out tasks such as pruning shrubs, trees and hedges and tidying the children’s play area.  On occasion local contractors are employed to carry out the heavier tasks such as rolling the grass and major hedge cutting.
